About us: FIBER is a company set up to meet the demand for building energy rating anticipated by the EU Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD). As part of this directive a Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate will be required at the point of sale or rental of a building, or on completion of a new building. FIBER provides a service assessing new dwellings and issuing energy certificates once validated by Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI). Assessors employed by FIBER are all suitably qualified and registered with SEI (see www.sei.ie for register of qualified BER assessors)

The sustainable future of Ireland lies in the conservation of the environment, the reduction of Carbon Dioxide ( CO2 ) emissions being a key factor in achieving this sustainability. By assessing and advising on the energy efficiency of homes, and ways in which energy efficiency can be increased and CO2 emissions reduced, FIBER aims to ensure that Ireland’s sustainable future is achieved. Our logo is a watercolour of an Irish child on an Irish strand. The child being symbolic of the future breathing in the clean Irish sea air symbolising the environment. Our children and the environment are our future.
