Procedure for obtaining BER certification from FIBER 1. Contact FIBER by e-mail, post (FIBER, Kiltrasna, Headford, Co.Galway) or telephone (087)7453500 2. FIBER will send you an agreement to sign which you should return with the required documentation and a cheque for 25% of the fee as a deposit. 3. FIBER will calculate your BER, CDER and MPCDER values and contact you to inform you of the values. This should take no more than 1 week. 4. FIBER will invoice you for the outstanding fee for the BER calculations and certificate. 5. Once payment has been received FIBER will validate and register the BER certificate with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) 6. FIBER will issue you with your BER certificate and calculations. 7. Note that you should inform SEI of any future changes made to your building which may affect the energy rating either via FIBER or another energy assessor.
